NEW! 14 Volt for the street! The intermediate step between 12 V and 16 V batteries. There are many advantages the 14V battery offers to the racer who also drives the car on the street. Since 14V batteries need to be charged at 16.8V, we have also introduced the all new Voltage Control Module  (VCM) that simply plugs into the factory or aftermarket a alternator to allow it to charge at the appropriate voltage for the 14V battery. With a 16V battery, the alternator charge voltage would need to be 19.2V, which is too high for many of the sensitive electronics that may be present in a street and strip race car.
