Check out these new perfected lightweight spindles from CTS for modifieds and stock cars. We took the new very popular 3 piece spindle and machined some extra casting off to reduce the weight by 10% but still keep the strength these spindles are known for. The weight is now equivalent to the standard pinto spindle with brake mount and hardware that we have always used in the past. We also machined some material off bottom of steering arm to allow more movement on rod end. This lightweight machined version shown here comes in bare steel and are only coated for picture clarity.

We rework each piece to reduce weight yet keep the strength that these spindles are known for. We machine the steering arm so rod end has more misalignment and countersink bolt holes to accept Allen head bolt for more clearance. We also ream the bottom hole to accept the most common lower ball joint pin (HOWE 22430+22460). When we are done machining these spindles they weigh equivalent to standard Pinto spindles with hardware. If you’re tired of bending standard Pinto spindles this is your answer! Much stronger, more consistent, and almost bullet proof! These have 8 degree pin inclination. Powder coated black also available. We do sell these in an unaltered version that is IMCA legal  These particular ones are a more perfected and lightened version which is legal in outlaw modified type racing.
